ENHANCING QUALITY OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR COMMUNITY SOCIAL PROVISION WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE DEINSTITUTIONALIZATION

Early decision to initiate cooperation on developing your project proposal is crucial

Enhancing quality of infrastructure for community social provision within the framework of deinstitutionalization - this Call is continuously open until December 31, 2019 by the latest (contacting authority can discontinue application submissions prior to due date if number of eligible applications substantially exceeds allocated amount).

The objective of this Call is enhancing quality of infrastructure for social provision in terms of construction and/or renovation and/or reconstruction and/or equipping; with the aim of delivering processes of deinstitutionalization, transformation and/or prevention of beneficiary institutionalization. Grants should also foster network of non-institutional/community service providers, aiming to decrease prevalence of institutionalization among the vulnerable groups.  

Size of the envelope for this Call: 616.200.000 kn

Minimum and maximum grant size: 400.000 kn – 15.000.000 kn

Co-financing requirement: none

Eligible applicants:

1) Public service providers

•          welfare homes;

•          welfare centers;

•          community social centers;

•          home care centers.

2) associations, churches, educational and health institutions, craftsmen and other legal entities (apart from profit making firms) registered as social providers;

3) physical entities independently providing community social provision; family homes for children and adults with special needs; if registered as social providers.

4) legal and physical entities registered as providers of services for the homeless.

Eligible partners: Apart from entities listed under 1-4 in the previous section, project partnership can include cities, municipalities and counties. In case the application is submitted by an entity providing services to the homeless (point 4 from the previous section) cities, municipalities and/or counties are mandatory partners.  Maximum number of eligible partners is 5.

Duration of projects: until June 1, 2023, with possible extensions until December 31, 2023.

Within this Call, MAP is offering EU project proposal development or quality control service.  This can entail either full process of project preparation (recommended for less experienced clients) or support in developing project idea and preparing high-quality proposal (recommended for more experienced clients).
